Information:
These workshops are designed to be an intensive Adobe Lightroom workflow course where participants will learn the power of one essential photography program.

How does lightroom work? The Modular approach, Importing images into your catalog, Organizing your Images, Editing Images, All about develop presets, When and how to edit in PhotoShop CS4, Exporting & What to do with your photos after exporting.


Itinerary:

This is San Juan, Puerto Rico's three day workshop, itinerary could change. Complete itineraries will be sent via email to all participants.

Instructor's Bio:

Kendrick Disch is an editorial and wedding photographer based in Atlanta, GA.
When he's not shooting or retouching, Kendrick is usually working with Burn Photo as a digital image workflow specialist working primarily with commercial photographers to ensure every shoot is captured, sorted, backed up, delivered, and archived quickly and efficiently. Kendrick has been a multimedia technology 'Coach' for nearly 10 years. He was a multimedia support specialist at the University of Arkansas for several years before moving on to be the first multimedia coordinator at the renowned Santa Fe Photography Workshops for a few seasons including time spent shooting and training in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. He then got invited to the Maine Media Workshops in Rockport, Maine to manage a growing IT department which included 3 state of the art Photoshop/Lightroom learning labs. What do you need to bring to this workshop? Basic March 5th, 2010 in Santo Domingo:
Laptop with your images.
Portable backup drive (if you already have one)
Lightroom demo installed at least one day before workshop.

Advanced March 6th and 7th, 2010 in Santo Domingo:
Your SLR camera, lens, batteries, external flash, extra batteries and extra memory cards, your
laptop with your images. A portable backup drive (if you already have one), Lightroom demo installed at least one day before workshop.

Getting Started with Lightroom in San Juan, Puerto Rico. March 12, 13 and 14, 2010:

Who should take this workshop?
Amateurs and Advanced digital photographers.
This workshop is only an Adobe Lightroom course, basic digital photography will not be covered in class.

Enrollment is limited to 15 participants for these workshops, we encourage you to register as early as possible. Terms and conditions:
Price does not include any materials, transportation, hotel / airfare or breakfast / lunch. There will be refreshments and snacks in the classroom and water bottles for the workshops which include on location shoots. We recommend all students bring cash for quick stops or any foods needed for the day. A deposit of $150 is needed to reserve your space. Full payment is required by March 1st, No refunds will be provided after February 23rd. In case of cancellations 10 days before workshop date, deposits will not be reimbursed.
